Kristen & Chris had a mix of rustic with glam in their backyard wedding that is every bride's DIY Pinterest dream. The teacher and designer decorated their home and backyard for their small guest list of close family and friends.
The theme of "Pop, Click, Cheers" was featured in all aspects of the day from DIY coasters to the reoccurring rose gold glitter and shimmer seen in the mother of the bride's dress, bride's clutch and table cloths. Gold frames featured wedding photos of the bride's parents, broom's parents and grandparents. The backyard had a bar and handmade sign featuring the groom and bride's name.
After the ceremony in the park across the street from their apartment, the two hosted cocktails in their backyard before everyone went to Eastern Standard for dinner.
I hope to hire these two to decorate my wedding one day. Congrats Kristen & Chris!
"Working with Alyssa was our best wedding decision. She provided engagement and wedding day photos. Our engagement session began with pouring rain. Alyssa was super flexible offering both a rain date and creative ideas to make the rain work for us. In the end, we ended up with AMAZING rainy day photos. She made the whole day fun and full of laughter and I cannot express how much we treasure the images she captured. I tried not to be that girl who gets every photo framed but in the end I could not help myself, they were just too good. On our wedding day, when Alyssa showed up at our apartment, it felt like a friend had stopped by to share in the excitement and snap a few pictures. In all my bridal nerves, I hardly noticed her fluttering around the house and sneaking photos of every detail and touching moment. When we got our photos back (in WAY less time than we thought), I was blown away. I haven't shown our photos to a single friend or family member who hasn't cried and laughed looking over the images. Alyssa was a pleasure to work with. I adore our pictures. She got our style completely and her images are nothing but a gift." -Kristen
