They wanted to re-create some of their engagement and wedding photos but revisiting the places we shot. So we went back to Harvard Square, where it began. We also made sure to take some photos in the park where they exchanged their vows across from their home.
We finished the shoot in their home, which was completely transformed since last time I was there with Kristen shooting her getting ready photos. Baby John's bedroom had a adorable sign above the crib that said "Little boys should never be sent to bed, they always wake up a day older." Bringing the shoot, full circle we sat on the floor and read Jimmy Fallon's children's book "Dada." It was a small flashback to their engagement photo of reading "Eloise" (Kristen's favorite children's book) on the floor of Harvard's bookstore.
I always adore at-home shoots. They bring out an ease in the couple and you learn more about them seeing their space. I was able to capture the new baby room and photograph the couple with some of the baby items they have prepared for Baby John.
